Peter Root is the Managing Director of Root Projects Australia with more than thirty years' experience of working on major projects in Australia.
Peter began his career as a professional manager in the building and development industry in 1977, managing multimillion dollar capital works projects for both public and private sector clients.
Since establishing Root Projects Australia in 1994, Peter has led the company's involvement in many high profile developments designed for extensive public use. As well as drawing on his traditional project and construction management experience, he has expanded the company's services to offer clients high level strategic advice on project feasibility, planning and development.
Peter has a comprehensive background in contractual and legal matters in the building and development industries. He also has extensive experience in the assessment and negotiation of tenders for government, semi government and private sector projects.
Born in Sydney, Peter has a Bachelor of Building and a Masters of the Built Environment (Building Conservation) from the University of New South Wales.
